Here are the dates of what the other memeber of my group and I have planned to complete during the production of our music video. Green Screen Practice

The other member of my group and I were thinks about doing green screen. So we both went and did lots of research and looked at some tutorials (like the one above). Then we both discussed and decided that we would use green screen in our music video.

Above is the tutorial that we came across which helped us the most to learn about the green screen effect in Adobe Premiere Pro CS5 which is the program we are using to make are music video.
First thing we realized was that getting an actual green screen, a professional one that is, was going to be extremely pricey, to be specific were talking £60 - £200 - pretty much out of my hands...but I came across a few videos that pretty much encouraged the viewers to just go and get some green or blue fabric, some good lighting and something to hold the screen up. So what we did is look on amazon and found a cheap green screen that we could use.

When we used the green screen we use are schools drama room and there lighting. This was so that we could distribute the lighting which was not only helpful but was really effective when we were filming. This is because we didn’t have any shadow lines and also we were able to control the amount of lighting that was needed.

So we then decided to do a practice scene with the green screen before we did our final piece so we could familiarise ourselves with the software and understand how to create the effect without any difficulties.

While learning how to use the green screen effect on Adobe Premiere Pro CS5, we came across a few problems such as areas on the actress' body that were opaque which revealed the back ground image onto her clothing which were not meant to appear, but with the help of the tutorial we were able to fix this and this resulted in a very good piece of practice footage!

Here is the final green screen practice footage.
